Simon Duffin (Owner)
Simon has been farming fish at Invicta trout for 45 years when he took over from his father Charles Duffin.
Whilst the farm which was built in 1972 originally produced table trout Simon has over the years changed the emphasis to producing top quality restocking trout.
His wife Kate does much of the administration and so it remains very much a family business.
Paul Murdoch (General Manager)
Paul has been farming trout for over 20 years specialising in hatchery and restocking. Having managed some of the largest hatchery and ova producers in the UK he is well suited to raising some of the best quality fish Scotland has to offer. Paul has also visited trout farms all over the world and brings back new ideas and different ways of thinking from each one. His passion for high quality restocking fish as well as fish health and welfare show through in the standard of our fish. His daughter willow is in training and is keen on feeding but at 2 years old she has a good lot to learn. This father and daughter team holds to Invicta’s family values.
Rob joined us from South Africa to learn more about trout production after being manager on a farm back home. Rob takes care of the hatchery as well as helping on the main farm. He also has a passion for fly fishing and kayaking out side of work.
Chris is our resident lorry driver as well as handy man. He has a keen eye for detail and is involved on every aspect of the farm.
